Allan Grant

Energy, Defence & Cleantech Practice
Allan Grant is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of diversified leadership experience across renewable energy, cleantech, and defence — and a track record of building companies, closing high-value deals, and opening doors in global markets others can't reach.

Allan has operated at the highest levels of his industry. As VP Business Development at Corvus Energy, he was part of the executive team that transformed a startup into the world's dominant marine battery supplier — a journey that included securing a $20 million investment from Shell Ventures. As EVP at LAVLE, a Japanese-American solid-state battery developer, he drove product commercialization across defence, rail, marine, and grid markets in North America, Europe, and Asia — generating $500K in initial sales while locking in $2 million in future commitments before the prototype was even complete. He has also negotiated high-value agreements with multinational leaders including GE and Boeing.

Beyond building companies, Allan has advised fund managers and delivered seminars on renewable energy, hydrogen technologies, cleantech, and electricity market deregulation across Houston, New York, London, Riyadh, Singapore, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Cape Town — building deep relationships within global investment and government communities along the way.

At Future Ventures, Allan brings that rare combination of operator experience and investor fluency to clients navigating the energy transition — helping leadership teams scale with credibility, access the right capital, and compete on a global stage.
