Alan's early career was built in competitive commercial environments. Starting as an account executive at the Calgary Sun in 1991, he moved through radio and television before landing with the Calgary Flames and Hitmen Hockey Clubs, where he spent eight years as Director of Marketing and Business Development. He later served as President and Managing Director of Northstar Sports & Entertainment for 16 years, working directly with Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation teams and NHL clubs across Canada as a trusted supplier of sponsorship agreements and production services — an arena where relationships are everything and execution is non-negotiable.
Over the past 15 years, Alan has turned his focus to international real estate, buying, selling, and developing land and condominium projects along Costa Rica's Pacific coast. Working alongside investors, he has successfully brought multiple residential developments to market — building the kind of cross-border deal experience and investor relationships that few advisors can offer.
